Cats

Your cat and their carrier

Getting familiar with the carrier before the day of the visit.

Updated: 11.09.2026 · Information for pet owners

A familiar space

Leave the carrier accessible at home so your cat can explore it at their own pace. Familiar bedding can help make it more inviting.

On the day of the visit

Keep the carrier stable and limit noise and sudden movements. At the clinic, follow the team’s guidance on when and how to take your cat out. If visits are particularly difficult, discuss preparation with your veterinarian beforehand.
